Q: Why seal coat?

A: Asphalt pavements deteriorates quickly due to environmental damages. Seal coat prevents ultraviolet rays to break the carbon bonds in asphalt which causes the damage. Moreover, seal coat prevents cracks from forming, and covers existing ones; preventing from continious cracking.

Q. How long does seal coat last

A. It depends on the traffic. As more cars drive on top of the asphalt the less it will last. Usually seal coat will last two years, and more for residential driveways.

Q. My asphalt is very crack, will seal coat help?

A. No, seal coat is a preventive treatment. In that case, your asphalt needs to be removed and three inches of asphalt needs to be apply.
